She for she provided reusable pads in a “school me” campaign launch by The Innocent league Uganda, at Busoga High school in the Kamuli district.
The Innocent League is a HIV/AIDS, healthy habits and skills development service organization, founded in Uganda.
The organization helps and empowers young people infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS to deal with life challenges, and thereby contributing to creating a stigma and discrimination free generation.
Just like many girls miss large parts of their education and exams because of the lack of menstrual products, the stigma of HIV/AIDS is making it harder for young people infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS in africa to get proper education.
